Here on the west coast of England the salt-laden air accelerates the process of corrosion, and the results can be astoundingly beautiful. These images are inspired by a trip to Lundy and in particular the protective metal panels affixed to the lighthouse at the far north of the island. They are my interpretation of the beauty which can be found in a decaying or heavily corroded surface and are designed to be displayed as triptychs.
Originally intended as '50 shades of decay...' - it was never going to reach 50, but might make 15 at some point !
