UK Artists was created in 2010, and grew out of a regional online art gallery called 'Warwickshire Artists'.

Bath Online Exhibition

This is the yearly open exhibition of selected works held at the Burton Art Gallery & Museum in Bideford, organised and run by the Friends of Burton Art Gallery.
I'm so pleased to have another couple of paintings selected again this year.
This is running concurrently with the Burton's 'The Art of Sketching' exhibition which is well worth a visit.

This year's WHOBID exhibition runs from Saturday 6th July to Saturday 10th August at the Burton Art Gallery in Bideford. I've been fortunate to have all 4 of my submitted paintings selected and hung in the main exhibition once more.

Website update
I've made some changes to my site, and especially to the gallery pages to include a separate page for sold paintings. I've also tidied it up so that it's more mobile-friendly. I hope that it looks a bit better on mobile devices now - I hadn't realised that the images were being displayed in a variety of sizes, so many apologies if you've had a bad experience with my site in the past. Please let me know what you think of the changes, or if there's anything you'd like me to add (or remove!).

The Secret Art Prize 2019 - Curious Duke Gallery
I have entered some paintings into the competition for this prestigious award, and am keeping everything crossed that my work might be considered worthy.
The winner of Secret Art Prize has the opportunity to showcase their work within a dedicated space at Moniker Art Fair with curatorial support from both Moniker Art Fair and Curious Duke Gallery. They will earn full representation from Curious Duke Gallery, mentoring from CDG founder Eleni Duke, a cash prize, gifts from Great Art, and a portfolio review from Metro Imaging.
There will also be four runners up who will receive a prize from our sponsors, representation and mentoring from Curious Duke Gallery, as well as their work showcased.
The Secret Art Prize is open to all urban and contemporary artists. Disciplines welcome include painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking and photography.
Who is the Curious Duke?
The Secret Art Prize is run by Curious Duke Gallery - a successful independent company set up by one of the country’s youngest female gallerists, Eleni Duke.
The Curious Duke has built its reputation on openness and accessibility, with none of the traditional stigma that can make other galleries feel intimidating.
Having founded award winning Curious Duke Gallery in 2011, Eleni Duke has cemented her position on the UK art scene with collaborations with London based businesses, showcasing at the UK art fairs and joining the judging panel of all female street festival Femme Fierce. 2015 saw the gallery come second to the highly respected Richmix in the TimeOut #LoveLondon culture awards.
Duke’s nurturing approach to young talent has seen her winning 2nd place for Micro Business of the Year 2013, with her artists taking to the airwaves on BBC radio and featured in London’s press as well as top art publications such as After Nyne. It's that time of year again - I've had a couple of paintings selected and this will be my final show of 2018 after a hectic year.
I'll be taking a break after this to spend some time actually painting !!

Affordable Art Fair - Battersea
October 18th - 21st 2018 (Private View Wed 17th pm)
I'm thrilled to have been asked to join the Rosvik Gallery stand once more for this prestigious event. We'll be in our usual place on stand F1 which is at the rear of the hall, handily positioned next to the coffee bar, creative studio and wrapping station.
Each AAF event features selected works from the galleries taking part on a number of 'curated walls' within the fair. In their words 'the curated walls are a particularly positive aspect of each fair. They help to guide and inform visitors, whilst assisting those who may be spoilt for choice by the vast selection available.'
I have been lucky enough to be one of those chosen to display work on the 'Art under £500' wall so please keep a lookout for 'Rainbow, interrupted' (on my Abstract page) when you visit the fair.

I'm delighted to announce that I have just been elected to full membership of this widely known and respected Art Society which has historic links to the Burton Art Gallery & Museum in Bideford. Members of the Society include painters, printmakers, sculptors, wood-carvers, potters and textile artists.
WHOBID hold an annual exhibition at the Burton every summer - this year is their 96th exhibition which runs from 11th August to 16th September.

Having enjoyed such success in late 2017 I wanted to maintain momentum with my painting, so in February 2018 I decided to join DAN in order to take part in their Open Studios event later in the year (dates will be published in due course).
This is a Devon-wide event so covers a large geographical area, and hundreds of artists usually open up their studios to the public.

Affordable Art Fair, Battersea, 17th - 21st October 2017
I was thrilled to be invited to exhibit my paintings on the Rosvik Gallery stand at the Affordable Art Fair, Battersea in autumn 2017.
The exhibition was a great success and a wonderful opportunity to exhibit my new collection of abstract paintings.
